Thank You Ventura!— A New Chapter for LATITUDES Gallery
Latitudes Gallery·March 12, 2026
After fifteen wonderful years in downtown Ventura, we want to share an important update with our community.
At the end of April, we will be closing our Downtown Ventura gallery location — while continuing the journey of LATITUDES through our Kauai gallery, our online gallery and exciting new photo adventures.
While this marks the close of a meaningful chapter for us, it is also the beginning of an exciting new one.
Fifteen years ago, we opened LATITUDES Gallery with a simple dream: to share photography inspired by the beauty of the natural world. What followed has been far more rewarding than we could have imagined. Over the years, thousands of visitors have walked through our doors — travelers, collectors, nature lovers, and friends — each bringing their own stories of the places that inspire them.
Those conversations and connections are what truly shaped this gallery. LATITUDES has always been about more than photographs on the wall. It has been about a shared love for the ocean, wild landscapes, and the powerful moments in nature that remind us how extraordinary our world can be.
Ventura has been an incredible home for this journey, and we are deeply grateful for the community that welcomed us and supported us for so many years.
While our Ventura chapter is coming to a close, the story of LATITUDES Gallery is very much continuing — and in many ways, expanding.
"We are expanding our LATITUDES."
Steve will continue to be based in Kauai, photographing the Hawaiian islands and running our beautiful gallery in The Shops at Kukui'ula in Po'ipu, on the south shore of Kauai. This winter, Steve has made multiple trips to Maui and amassed an awe inspiring new collection humpback whale photographs...soon to be released!
Having recently returned from France and the Serengeti in Africa, Stephanie will be spending more time on the road, seeking out new photographic adventures and extraordinary landscapes that will inspire future collections for LATITUDES Gallery. From coastlines and remote wilderness to cultures and wildlife around the world, these journeys will continue to shape the evolving story of LATITUDES.
Our Ventura based Design Consultant, Tasha, at Tasha Cleaveland Designs, is available for in-person and virtual consultations, deliveries and installs.
Our gallery in Kauai will continue to welcome visitors, and our website will remain a place where collectors can discover and bring the perfect art piece into their homes.
"We are so grateful to the community of Ventura... forever our home."
Over the coming weeks we hope you will stop by the Ventura gallery to visit, say hello, and celebrate this chapter with us. It would mean so much to see familiar faces and share a few more conversations about the places that inspire us all.
Thank you for fifteen incredible years of support, friendship, and shared love for art and the natural world. The Ventura chapter will always be the heart of LATITUDES, and as the journey continues, our path forward is guided by curiosity, adventure, and awe. We look forward to sharing the beauty of many new places with you in the years ahead.
Be sure to keep in touch - in person, online and visit us in Kauai!
With gratitude and anticipation,
Stephanie Hogue & Steve Munch & The LATITUDES Gallery Family
