Have you seen this video of our baby whale encounter last winter? Breathtaking footage of a newborn baby gray whale off the coast of California was captured by Steve Munch. A rare encounter with a newborn baby gray whale this past week left us in awe as we watched it learn to swim and frolic in the water with its mother. Judging from its size and swimming ability, we figure it was only hours old...days at most. As wildlife and nature photographers, we spend many hours searching, observing and waiting for the right moment, lighting, composition, etc. This was a day when all the stars aligned and we were there, ready to capture it. Ventura Winter Wine Walk and Street Festival- Dec 6th 2014 Holidays are here again!!! We will be pouring 805 Beer for the Wine Walk again this year, so stop in this Saturday, December 6th for a taste of this great local beer!! Also, come down early for the Street Fair- happening all day long with live music at the corner of Main and California St. It is going to be a festive weekend in Downtown Ventura!
