How to Select Artwork for an Entry or Connecting Space
Amy has been struggling with this entryway. It's the space that connects many rooms. High visibility, and some surrounding walls that aren't appropriate for artwork. She also has a balcony creating a ceiling with two heights. OH MY!
Let's go back to basics and find the solution. Furniture centered on the wall, and artwork centered over it. This leaves us with a 2:1 ratio space left above the furniture.
We need a piece large enough to create a strong focal point and carry the rest of the blank walls, not to mention the two story ceiling. "La Playa Pier Rocks" in 36"x72" to the rescue! 😀
